Hello, my name is Whitney Blakely. I joined Alliance Counseling in 2013 as a full time clinician and enjoy working with a variety of populations ranging from adolescents through geriatrics. I have specialties in a number of areas and as a result I am able to to provide interventions for an array of presenting problems, such as mental health, life stressors, interpersonal issues, sexual identity, to name a few. My employed use of many evidence based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment, Ego States, and many more results in my clients gaining skills and ability - allowing them to achieve their desired life through healing their past and tweaking their present.
I’m big on living in the current moment and being present in one’s life. In sessions, I try to make every appointment comfortable and have been told I have great insight and a very relaxed style, I also have been coined as “normal”. All descriptions I strive for. All I can do is provide good, ethical services and that is exactly what I try my best to do.
